Nicole Miranda is a Sydney Graphic and Visual Artist plus Ceramicist inspired predominantly by nature; largely Australian flora and fauna. Nic has been creating and selling her original pieces for over twenty eight years through exhibitions, craft shows, Artisan markets, selected stores and galleries.
She creates and produces original paintings in a variety of mediums plus designs and produces earthenware ceramic items which she either hand builds or slipcasts. Most popular are her hand painted and produced ceramic tables with bases made by a local blacksmith plus ceramic pieces which are imprinted with natural found and grown materials.
I am largely inspired by nature including flowers, plants, birds and Australian fauna and flora. My ideas are inspired by our beautiful environment, the coast, my garden and others I visit.
I am fortunate to have lived in Hunters Hill Sydney for many years so surrounded by beautiful birds, plants, trees, the bush and history.
My paintings are all original works and include acrylic on canvas, gouache, watercolours and etchings.
I will be revisiting my love of black and white drawings in the future.
I will also be making giclee prints of some of my popular works.
