About Nicole Miranda from Originally Nic

Nicole is a local Sydney artist who designs on the medium of earthenware ceramics. Her original designs are handpainted quality items suitable for dishwasher, microwave or oven use.

Nicole is a graphic designer but decided 14 years ago to concentrate mainly on her first love of painting and design.

Nicole sells her products through reputable Australian Arts and Crafts markets in Sydney where she commands a wider audience of customers from locally and abroad.

Nicole also sells her work through selected galleries, gift stores and art and craft exhibitions at prestigious schools. She has been involved in magazine articles associated with Tonia Todman and Australian Ceramics Magazine. She has also been part of a ceramic exhibition at a Sydney studio where she taught ceramics.

Nicole has been involved twice in the Botanic Gardens The Artisans in the Garden Exhibition where she expressed herself in a more botanical nature producing pieces suitable for Australian gardens.

She is quite happy to produce items on commission such as tables, tiled wall designs and splashbacks. New designs are always being introduced to the range in many themes such as Australian natives, Mediterranean, French and current trends.
